DVDs purchased online are intended for home video use only.  To show or present the movie outside the home requires a license that authorizes you to publicly exhibit the movie to any size audience.  This includes any organization (non-profit as well) that is presenting the movie in any setting, even if admission is not being charged.  The Copyright Act of 1976 asserts that DVDs are for home use only and that you need permission to show them publicly.  Without permission, you will be in violation of the Copyright Act and subject to fines.

Purchasing the AWF movie event kit with accompanying public exhibition license will ensure that your screening event is the best it can possibly be.  We’ve developed this kit after hosting countless of our own screenings, and promise that if you utilize its contents, you’ll have a screening that makes a true impact!

The AWF movie event kits are priced according to the audience size you are planning to host at your event.  We are offering four different prices:

$49 – for audiences 1-49
$99 – for audiences 50-99
$149 – for audiences 100-199
$199 – for audiences more than 20

According to the terms of the public exhibition license, you are not allowed to require payment for admission to screenings of As We Forgive. However, you are allowed to ask for a suggested donation for admission as a way of raising funds for your organization. The primary stipulation is that 25 percent of all funds you raise during your screening must go to support the Living Bricks Campaign, which is the official action campaign to support reconciliation efforts in Rwanda.
