Dear Friends,
As the 100 Days of Hope continues, we are thrilled to share that ‘As We Forgive’ is making its broadcast premiere on PBS! This month, public television stations across the country will begin airing AWF in honor of the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide. We are incredibly excited for Rwanda’s story of radical reconciliation to reach what we hope will be millions of homes. Several dates and times have already been announced and are available here on our website. Check back often as we get information on new dates and times every day! If you don’t see your area listed, please call your local PBS station and request AWF to be programmed!! We hope that you will help us in spreading the word when it airs in your area.
Nashville Premiere!
We are excited to further celebrate the 100 Days of Hope at the Nashville premiere of AWF at the Belcourt Theater next Thursday, May 21. The event is sponsored by Mocha Club, a Nashville-based organization that raises funding for worthy African projects and spreads awareness of the joy and hope that exist in Africa. The event will kick off with a musical performance by the Kopecky Family Band. All proceeds of ticket sales go to benefit the Living Bricks Campaign! For more information visit our website or purchase tickets at www.belcourt.org.
And don’t forget to check out our new site for the Living Bricks Campaign where you can join Rwanda’s effort to reconcile survivors and ex-prisoners by helping to build a village of reconciliation: www.LivingBricksCampaign.org
Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement as we seek to tell this story across the world!
Sincerely,
Laura
